Margaritas is one of Tipton County's most popular Mexican restaurants. I have a great experience with friends and family every visit. It's a wonderful place to celebrate birthdays and other events. Impressive menu with many items that you may have not seen before. Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. I usually order the taco salad, loaded baked potato or the quesadilla.

Didn't even eat walked in to servers  leaning on the front counter back to the door. Looked over their shoulders at us continued to stand until the older man maybe the manager said something. They walked over and one of them proceeded to inform us she didn't want anymore tables so we left.

Save time and money eat somewhere else.

So this is a new building.   decor is typical.
Food was edible, barely!  The fajita i was served  was warm,  like fresh out of a microwave. Service was non existent.   Took forever to get water, longer for chips,  did not get a refill of our drinks.   They handed out napkins like they were 100 dollar bills.   one at a time.  I could go on and on, but I won't.

    Review update:

After nearly 5 years, I still don't understand why they (or any other restaurant in this area) don't stay open past 10 pm on Fridays & Saturdays.  That being said...

I've always had pretty fast and very friendly service here, considering the crowds that come in at dinner time. The food has always been hot, fresh and very tasty.

People can be really tough on these review sites. Folks, this is NOT Ruth's Chris.  This is a Mexican restaurant in Tipton County, TN.  You pretty much get what you pay for, and should adjust your expectations before going in.  For the prices and location, the food is perfect.

Someone mentioned the turnover of waitstaff. Really?  To them I say... this is NOT a "career" job. Just like practically every other restaurant, these are mostly young people who, many times, are just trying to figure out their best course in life. Give 'em a break. It will always be that way in the restaurant business.

On a number of occasions I've ordered food to go.  It's always been ready in 10-15 minutes, has always been hot, and has always been correct.  Always includes chips, salsa, utensils and napkins.

Apparently, the restaurant is doing very well, as they are weeks away from opening yet another new store (and building) in Munford.  I'm guessing that they must be doing something right!

Our food was just okay. For a family of five, no one at the table overly enjoyed the quality of food. My steak taco was cold, and my oldest son's entree tasted terrible. Our service was slow, but the staff was friendly.
We let the waitress know about the food issues, she tried to find a manager, but after 10 minutes she returned alone. She insisted on getting the manager. Another ten minutes elapsed and no help.
The owner finally made an appearance and greeted our table with abruptness and discord. He did not introduce himself. He just said, "What?" We explained our experience, and he said, "What do you want me to do about it?  I told him, "Whatever you think best. You tell us." It went downhill quickly. He never budged. He never apologized for the wait, the cold food, or the mediocre tasting entree. He did accuse of trying to get a free meal.
I am shocked and discouraged by an owner speaking down to a customer's family in front of the entire staff and other patrons. We were also lectured on parenting and the minutiae of running a local business.
I would have been satisfied with a sincere apology, with a genuine concern for our experience, a guarantee he will make our next visit exceptional, or yes, a compted entree. He never changed our ticket. We paid for sub-par food, slow service, and the embarrassment of publically discussing our fare in a demeaning manner openly.
I am genuinely disgusted by the example set at this restaurant and in particular the owner. He lost a customer for life, and I will advocate against anyone eating at this establishment; because their service will be subjective. The owner will determine if your complaint is valid. (Although, sometimes a claim is not valid, what matters is how the manager/owner leaves the customer feeling.) He will not favor on the side of the customer, nor cares if you return.
